How do you lock the iPhone keypad while using the iPod feature to prevent songs from stopping, skipping, volume changing, etc?

After starting a song, just tap the top lock button. It will shut off the screen, but the music will continue. You can then always hit the home button or lock button to see the song playing, and if you slide to unlock, you'll be back in the iPod feature to skip/stop whatever..

Regards
