iphone 4 connecting is internet problem

right so got the iphone 4 today i can see were to connect it to my wireless router but i want to connect it to 3g but no options seem to appearing from what i can tell, can someone direct me thank you

the iphone will automatically connect to ATT's network if either a wifi network is not available or you choose to turn of wifi. Otherwise wifi is what is connected to.
