O2 only offer capped data plans for the iPhone 4, but existing customers who don't change their phone or tariff, keep their current (unlimited) plan.

I would like to keep my data uncapped, so should I buy an iPhone 4 direct from the Apple Store and convert the sim from my 3GS to microsim, rather than pay a £ 100.00 upgrade fee (based on the remainder of my current contract) and buy the iPhone 4 through O2?

Any flaws in this plan?

New to the site so apologies if I'm on the wrong thread

On a factory unlocked iphone 3g jailbroken with cydia and rock apps installed I've suddenly lost all carriers. Tried restore but just the same

Everything else works OK, theres just no o2 phone signal

Any help greatly appreciated
