How we doin,

So long ago I used to own a minidisk player that had a cool remote that attached to the MD player and also had a jack for headphones:

MD Community Page: Sony RM-MC33EL

I was wondering if there was a product like this for the iphone where the display would show the song currently playing and also double up as a caller id. This would be the perfect solution to have a remote and caller ID handy so I don't have to take the phone out of my holster to see who's calling. Let me know what we got!

good news, found the answer to my own question:

Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970 Bluetooth headset Headset reviews - CNET Reviews

nowwww my question is do the track controls work with iphone? based on all my research, track controls for bluetooth headsets simply are not compatible with iphone. any exception here?

ok, i found the answer to my 2nd question. basically apple has limited support AVRCP bluetooth profile so it can't skip tracks with any bluetooth device.

iPhone and iPod touch: Supported Bluetooth profiles

see the fine print...only supports pause and play

thanks for not answering my questions everyone

I can tell you that the majority of posts aren't going to be answered within the first hour, especially around noon.
