what speeds are you getting tethering?

I have checked my speeds vs a verizon PC card

up is .11mb/s down is .55mbs
vs Verizon
up .22 down is 1.11mb/s

But I also heard that tethering speeds are slower then those of PC cards
anyone know if this is true?

Thanks

Are you tethering via the cable or via Bluetooth? Are you using 3G or a WiFi? I haven't checked mine to be honest, maybe I will.

3G via cable:

WiFi via cable:

(EDIT: This one still says Cingular even though I was using my WiFi network...Hmmmmmm, can you tether to WiFi?)

I used the Java based test at DSL · Cable · VOIP · Security · Satellite · Fiber · News · Tips · Reviews · Community · Tools - dslreports.com

Just for grins, this is what I got via 802.11G (older Airport Extreme) on my Mac:
