Keyboard for iPhone 3Gs

I have had my 16G iPhone 3Gs for a couple of weeks - my first iPhone. I am getting a little better using the keyboard. I have a PalmOne portable keyboard from my old Palm hand held. Is there any way to make that keyboard work with my iPhone? I doubt it but I wanted to check for sure. If not, is there an external keyboard that will work with the iPhone 3Gs? Sometimes in my car I think I could add notes to my iPhone quicker with an external keyboard. Thanks!

No the Palm one will probably not work and I have not seen a external one released for the iPhone yet.
