I dropped my iPhone (on my carpeted stairs, but it did slide down them a few feet), and there is no physical damage whatsoever. However, the screen is white and blank. I can hear sounds when I get a call or receive a text and it still vibrates, but the screen never changes. I tried restarting, restoring, everything. If I go to an Apple Store what can they do for me? My phone is still under warranty, I've only had it for 6 months. I'm about to go to college orientation in Boston, so it's important to have a phone that works for emergencies.

The warranty doesn't cover accidental damage. Feel free to go up there and try though. In the future, I suggest getting a protective case. They've saved my bacon a few times.

Standing request for all troubleshooting: Please provide your Mac model/year and OS version. Also advise us if you have used or installed any antivirus, security, or "cleaning" software on your Mac. If you have installed MacKeeper in particular, you are hereby advised to uninstall it.

Sounds like one of the cables popped loose. We had a guy come in a few weeks ago who had the same problem. If you are comfortable cracking the case make sure cables labeled 1 and 2 and 4 are firmly fixed to the board cable 3 is the ribbon for the earpiece. If you want me to take a look at it I will be happy to help you PM me I own an iphone repair company MC2 iPhone Repair Birmingham, AL
