Hey,
All wanted to see what the buzz is about the ibooster for iPhone, it says that the ibooster increases the signal from 1-5 even in the no signal places. I travel a lot and on the phone either talking or texting. 3g speed is no good, if you dont have signal you know....anyways any body have a clue?
sounds like its worth the buy for those who are stuck in the boonies out their in no mans land, but from what is looks like it could be something for road warriors. But I don't like the idea that it can only be used in the car and not at home.
yeah the micro cell can be one solution, but i still dont understand how it can solve my issue with driving and using my phone while in the car. I live is one of the most choppy neighborhood my phone reception and data connectivity ...suc*s ...anyways...thanks for the suggestion....
also, what do you guys think the eventual answer to this battle between the phone company and internet providers will go and who will win this competition between being able to use your phone at home on Wi-fi and using skype, google chat..or other kinds like that to connect instead of the phone network .
I see a trend where your being less and less dependent on the phone network and increasingly using Wi-fi network because? it FREEEEEE!!!
I read Cnet's review of it and I think the iBooster is the real thing coz most people need to travel around with their iPhone. I really need a good reception inside my car as I always talk to clients even when I am on my way to the office. There are a lot of dead spots that I pass through. It's really annoying when calls get dropped and I loose important calls because of it. So I pre-ordered one and I can't wait 'til July when I can finally get my hands on it!

Am I the only one that can see that someone has made multiple accounts and is trying to advertise on the forum? It's just like this thread.
Why would someone with a 0 post count just order an accessory without asking questions to the forum or original poster first? Doesn't seem natural.
I also find it hard to believe that someone would dump $230 on an antenna. Personally, my iPhone has great reception outside. In the car or not. If your reception is that bad that you need a $230 antenna to compensate for it, you either need a new phone or a better car.
If I recall correctly, this forum has rules about advertising on it. Might want to read that before Moderators take action.

The iBooster does what it says it will do. It boosts your signal. The only problems I have with it are that the antenna cord is not long enough for a proper installation. The cradle does not mount securely to the bracket that you stick to your cars dash. It does work for the signal though. I can now drive through areas where I had no signal and carry conversations.
