Does anyone know if I can use my iPhone charger to recharge/maintain my Macbook Pro via the USB port? Or are the USB ports "one way only" wrt power? Will I damage my Macbook Pro? (I'm dying to try it, but afraid to fry my notebook....)

Thanks!

I'm not sure if I understand the post correctly, you want to charge your notebook through the usb?? that won't work the usb supplies power to other devices, like the iPhone, but the computer itself can't be charged through any other port, but the magsafe

the usb cable is meant to charge your iPhone from the laptop, not the other way around

ps
oh and please don't say you want to connect the usb into the macbook and then connect the same cable to your mag safe

No.

And there is no reason to double post the same question either.

iPhone charger for Macbook Pro?

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
