I personally like the Incipio Feather, feels like there is nothing on the phone and adds great scuff protection. I also own an Incase Slider in matte black and i love that as well.
If you wanna collect the best cases,I recommend you to read reviews about iphone case at iLounge.com to first,That's very useful as your consideration .The Link:Sort Reviews & Accessories by Rating | iLounge ,

Hey all,
Just wondering about cases for the 3G. I have begun to build a small collection of cases and was just wondering what you use and think is the best case.
Thanks,
Adam
IMO - I recently bought the incase slider case(though my wife prefers the cheaper alternatives ). It is my favorite in terms of light protection and ease to grip. I also have the incase protector case (black rubber grip) and Agent 18.
The protector grip/case scratched my chrome bezel and became wrinkly and loose after two weeks. Agent 18 offers the most protection against drops imo, because the case itself is thicker.

The Incase Slider will scratch the bezel too. I had it for my 2g and it scratched it a lot. I won't buy one for my 3g. I bought an Incipio Feather instead.
