    Thumbs down LCD screen messed up. bad.
    clicked the wrong section! sorry!


    I accidently slammed my car door on my iPhone 3G. The glass didn't break but the lcd screen got all messed up. what should i do? heres a pic.

    take it back to the apple store and see how much it would be to replace the screen. If you're really ballsy you could try to di it yourself. Otherwise, you're SOL and might have to buy a new one. IF you decide to go that route, put it on ebay-someone will buy it

    Sell it on ebay... I sold an iphone with a cracked screen for $600 a few weeks ago.

    I went ahead and bought a new LCD screen. I'm going to do it myself So i'll let you know the outcome of it.

    Is the digitizer attached to the glass? or is it two pieces?

    its all one piece. my glass didn't break so all i had to replace was the lcd.

    hm...are you sure your iPhone isn't jailbroken? I know there is a program turning your screen messy with the program's effects...
