Right, I've just updated my iPhone to 2.0 firmware, downloaded the Pwnage tool for unlocking it to use with my Orange SIM card, and it didn't work.

So, without getting an O2 contract, its locked. Does anyone know how I can unlock it? Or restore it to 1.1.4?

Thanks,
Paul

That's why you shouldn't do that

I haven't tried it, but you could try this:

Discussion of illegal activity, including hacking the protection mechanisms built into the iPhone is prohibited here.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
