iBook/iPhone Connection

I have the iBook G3 and it doesnt recongnize my iPhone 3G, Does anyone know if this is a hardware or a software problem. The OS is Tiger 10.4. and I have iTunes 7.0, the OS doesnt support 7.7

Welcome!

I have Tiger and have iTunes 7.7
Is your OS up to 10.4.11? (last update for Tiger)
Also, it "requires" USB 2.0, but it will work for the USB 1.1 (I use it myself)

When all else fails, try everything!

I use Tiger and 7.7 as well. Maybe (I hope not, but maybe) the G3 itself doesn't support 7.7? Unfortunately, that version of iTunes is required for the 3G, because it adds the app store. Frankly I think this is a stupid thing to mandate, because you can access the app store perfectly fine on the phone itself without worrying about iTunes.
