I got a small scratch on my iPhone that I can't get rid of by just buffing alone. I've tried the toothpaste trick to no avail. I just ordered some cerium oxide (glass polish) to get out the scratch. Has anyone tried this?

those products only work on surface scratches (the material scratching it has rubbed off on the glass). if there is a physical scratch in which small segments of the glass has been scraped off then no product will help it
