I found this article on gizmodo they analyzed a video of the keynote and they think they stumbled upon something.(front facing camera)

haha, top find.

I like the comment trail under the story - there are some top comments there.

I do like the idea that it might be something they (Apple) are waiting to drop just before launch to step up the hype - nice idea.

Persoanlly I don't like making video calls - in 2 years of owning a 3g phone I made maybe a total of 10 minutes in video calls - feels very strange to me.

um, yeah, 3g phones have been out a lot longer than the iPhone 3g...

As it is - I turned in my 3g phone (SE K800 for a 16GB iPhone back in Feb - never looked back

To be honest.To have the functionality(In the business world)would be a good feature for video conferencing.I myself use a back up phone to do video conferencing with (HTC X7501)But the phone is a monster in itself when trying to tote it around.If this feature was in fact added then it would appeal to more towards video voyeurs,chataholics, and business men who need to make that quick visual connection.
Either way the new iphone will be a good edition to my current gadget collection.
