...but I don't see one. I went back through the messages clear to the first of July.

How do I find it, or get rid of the alert?

I was having the same problem on several IMAP mailboxes, both in my iPad and iPhone. It totally cleared with IOS7.

I've had several problems with Mail in iOS 7. For example:



That one went away by itself. Others needed the mail account to be deleted and re-added.
