I have some song lead-sheets in PDF form which I've transferred to my wife's iPad. They are clear to read and it seems like a good way of carrying basic sheet music around. However, I can't rely on having access to her iPad and it would be expensive to buy my own for this purpose.

Would a Kindle be suitable? Also how about one of those digital photo frames?

Comments appreciated ...
