Help my ipad video apps keeps crashing

The screen goes blank and i cannot watch videos to study. i have restored twice but it keeps happening. any ideas? what other free apps can i watch videos i sync to the ipad on?
that should read app not apps!

Source of the videos?
Format of the videos?
Are they in your iTunes library? How are you getting them onto your iPad?

I had a problem like this once on my old iPad -- I know I did NOT have to do a software restore to fix it -- I think what I ended up doing was the "reset all settings" on the iPad (under the Settings, General, all the way down to the bottom of the list).

Hey Mrplow,

the videos are all on itunes and they are ripped dvds of mine and videos from you tube. they are all mpv4 and i sync them onto the ipad via itunes.........
