Why don't they make Ipads different colors? Just like the Nanos. Why aren't all other i Products like this? I like colors.

Maybe they will soon. I seen some people with different color iPhones they would buy a complete case to conceal its original color and it looked pretty cool!

No you haven't. You've seen people with colored cases on their iPhones, they aren't different color iPhones.

The real reason is mostly to do with inventory. Each custom colour is a separate manufacturing job, and keeping inventory levels right on multiple colours just makes the job a lot harder. I remember the nightmare of trying to keep stock of the "right" colour iMacs back when those were in multiple colours.

I doubt that it will happen because of the cost to develop the different colors. Check these out

And you can have any colour you like....so long as it is black and who cares?

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Regarding the earlier post about not being able to change iPhone cases.. You can.
A friend of mine bought a baby blue case (front and back) and took his black iPhone apart and put the blue one on.
They are not made by Apple though.

EDIT:
By cases I meant the cover. Not an extra case.

I guess I like the aluminum with black or white IMO some things just don't need to be frilly.
