iPad music outputs thru 30 pin?

Hey Gang,

We have had our iPad for a few months now and I don't know how we lived without it.

This may be a stupid question but...
We have a few iPod dock stations in the house for listening to music and would like to use the iPad to play music on those docks but of course it won't fit.

I was looking at this dockXtender to attach the iPad to the dock. Does the iPad output music through the 30 pin connector like the iPhones and iPods do?

Yes it does. As ridiculous as it sounds, there are actually iPad dock stereos, just like the iPhone/iPod but it fits an iPad. So yep, you can use it the same way.
