Fair Price For An iPad 1 ?
I've had the original iPad (32GB WiFi/3G) since August of 2010. Today I purchased the new 64GB WiFi/4G iPad.

My iPad 1 comes with two great leather covers, one in Carbon Fiber and the other in soft leather, its original box, AC adapter and USB cord.

I will appreciate advice regarding a fair price I should ask for it. It also has AppleCare.

    Thank you very much.

Your best bet is to check eBay and Craigslist for recent sales, but if I had to guess right off the top of my head $250 to $300.

EDIT: I just did a quick check on eBay and upped my estimate.

    Specs:
    2011 13" MBP 2.3ghz, 8gig ram, OS 10.8.5
A good place to start is (Apple links below):

    - an iPad 1 (32gig + 3G) refurbished sells for $499
    - an iPad 2 (32gig + 3G) refurbished sells for $579
    - a "New iPad" (32gig + 4G) sells for $729

Of course if folks want/need WiFi + 3G...they could always settle for a lower cost 16gig model.

    From here...I would check Craig's List & e-Bay (like I have)...since I'm looking for an iPad 2.

I've already been doing some negotiating with some folks on Craig's List for an iPad 2 32gig WiFi + 3G...and we're usually talking around $450 ($129 below Apple's refurbished price).

So for an iPad 1 32gig WiFi + 3G...I would say don't expect more than say $375-$400 (maybe less). And keep in mind...the iPad 1 16gig WiFi only (refurbished) is selling for $299 (just for some perspective):

I had the same model as you and it was the same age. It was in great condition and all ways had a case on it. I sold mine on eBay and got £235.

UK and US prices for used iPads will certainly vary.

    Specs:
    Mid-2012 MBP (16GB, 1TB HD), Monoprice 24-inch second monitor, iPhone 5s 32GB, iPad Air 2 64GB
I sold my original iPad (with the box and everything it came with plus a nice cover) for $250. My was a 32GB Wi-Fi only.

The 3G one, if it's in very good cosmetic condition and includes a case, I could see someone paying $300 for.

I wouldn't pay more then 300 for it. You can also look on Craigslist and eBay to see what they are selling for.
