Enthusiastic photographer who uses Adobe's Lightroom s/ware (on a regulation XP Windows stand alone PC) to tinker with Phots/Images and place them in a ser order of Date & Time.

I can then places a Selection on iPAD, using the sync process.

However, when transfer to the iPAD is done the result is complete disarray, as they are in a random order.

Suggestions/advice will be warmly welcomed.

Or have I accidently walked right into the Jobs v Gates battle and their incompatability is here to stay, so tough.......

Many thanks

Safariholic

PS. Same Question posed in a LRoom Forum, with little useful result

I have had this 'feature' confuse me to in the past. Your pictures on the iPad are shown in date/time stamp order, rather then being ordered by file name as in Windows.

I did find a way of changing the date/time stamp on my files to order them as I wished but unfortunately I can't remember how I did it...
