If you feel an android tablet better suits your needs than an ipad2 then why not simply go ahead & just buy one? Expecting people here to spend their time defending their love of their ipads and convincing you to buy one

You marched in here with a laundry list of reasons why an android tablet better suits your needs, you then proceeded to basically try to goad people into "proving you wrong"

It's not the job of anybody here to "correct" you, why not take your list to an Apple store and tell them they need to prove you wrong,while you're at it be sure to let them know your displeasure over the fact that Apple hasn't gotten right on implementing your design ideas. I'm sure the sales staff will be more than delighted to assist you

I think this thread has run its course. The little productive discussion that was going on has long since dried up.

To the OP: any discussion of a third iPad will be nothing more than speculation. My advice would be to simply wait until it comes out and then make a decision.
