I just recently purchased a used iPad that needs to be repaired in order to work. This particular unit is in great condition however the seller is confusing me because he states that the iPad does not include the Hard disk/hard drive but I thought I pads didn't have a hard drive anyway. My question is if they do have a factory hard drive what is the proper term for it.

The seller is confused in some fashion. iPads don't have hard drives, but they do have storage (flash memory).
