No mirror option on airplay

I installed ios5 but when i went to do airplay thru apple tv for mirroring feature there was no mirror option when i hit airplay button only ipad and apple tv is there a setting im missing?

Does my apple tv also require an update?

Yup that did it only part is seems so laggy when you play an app on TV
