    I'm guessing you mean restart?

I've no idea why but a little information would be helpful.

iPad model, game you were playing, where were you etc.

    Specs:
    27" i7 iMac, 24" iMac, 13" Macbook Air, iPhone 5 & 5S, iPod Nano 7th Gen, iPad 2 16GB WiFi, iPad 3
While playing the game on the iPad, were you sent back to the home screen with all the apps, or did the iPad actually restart requiring you to wait for it to start up again and then unlock to get back in?
