I have a gmail account. 2 actually. I use Mac mail for both and have rules set up to put junk in the right places as well I have reported spam on the gmail website to sort out my junk mail. Mac mail is amazing and it puts all the right stuff in the right places. But iPad mail still gets filled with junk that I have reported on gmail and don't get in on my Mac. I hate sorting through the same many emails a day I get from junk senders. How do I sort this so I only get wanted mail...at least mostly.

Why not use one GMail account for both your Mac and iPad? One account setup as IMAP would solve the SPAM problem and you would continue to receive your mail on both. (synced)
