I'm trying to use my iPad to do more and remotely access an old laptop PC that has a game or two on it. The laptop is slow and clunky, and I read in another thread that the VNC Viewer app for the iPad could do the trick. Anyone have success using it?

I have a VNC viewer - but the easiest thing to use and setup (that I have personally used) is Teamviewer. A lot of people swear by logmein - Teamviewer is free for personal use and it seems logmein charged for stuff that was free with teamviewer. Has a local mode, as well as access from an internet address.
TeamViewer - Free Remote Access and Remote Desktop Sharing over the Internet

Screens is a great VNC app. I'll be posting a review soon on the blog.
