I have a pocket-sized hour rechargeable battery that works just fine on my iPod, but not for my iPad1

Is anyone aware of something like this for an iPad?

Thanks.

Let me google that for you

There are lots of hits and options from that search query.

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).

I guess I didn't Google it properly as only info about the iPad-2 came up.

Thanks - just what I was looking for.

The batteries in the iPad and iPad 2 are pretty much identical. If it can charge one, it will charge the other.

I have a Zagg Sparq that works for both the iPhone and iPad.
phone Charger | iPhone Charger | iPad Charger | Portable Battery Charger | ZAGGsparq | ZAGG
Good for about an extra half charge on the iPad.

Considering I just finished a 10 hour flight - I played a 3d Game (Galaxy on Fire 2) for a few hours, watched a couple of 2 hour movies, and did some web surfing before getting on the plane - and only dropped to 48% - another half charge is quite a long time.

It is also what I carry around to charge my iPhone and iPad - since it has dual usb out. I no longer carry a dedicated charger for each. Just the Sparq and 2 iOS cables.
