The M.I.C. Store is now carrying a CF card adapter which much like Apple's own camera kit, allows one to connect a memory card directly to the iPad rather than hook up a card reader or camera, directly.

I personally would find this to be a benefit for a few reasons.

1. A dedicated card reader or camera hooked up to the camera kit will likely require more power from the iPads battery. This means less battery life and also slower transfer speeds.

2. Transferring directly from a camera can often cause data corruption.

3. This is a lot more tidy than connecting the camera kit, and then a card reader. One mount, to rule them all! *though it would have been nice of apple to simply integrate an multi card reader directly on the iPad its self... thanks a lot, Apple pfsssssh*.

They have a nice 3 in 1 card also.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

I bought a 5 in 1 some months ago from amazon. Now that they have changed the power going into the ipad with one of the iOS upgrades I am not sure it will work at all. I have had it too long to return it. It is a cheap made in China knock off. I liked it cause it had all five on one, usb, mini usb, SD, MicroSD and av. I guess when I get my iPad 2 I can check it out finally.
QUOTE Thanks
