    No distinction on Applecare between 1 & 2. Apple has it for $79 currently. So, not as big a savings as I thought when I posted it.

    Thanks for the heads up. I saved $30 on two packages plus another $10 tax (since Apple seems to be insistent on charging sales tax in Arkansas despite having no retail presence).
    I've always wanted to be smart, handsome and modest. But, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two out of three . . .

    For those trying to activate Applecare on their iPad that's already registered, here's the place. Can't do it from within your account showing all your registered devices unless you purchase it there.

    I myself am thinking about getting the square trade warranty instead covers Accidental damage. as well as 3 years for $50 a year
