Not sure if you are or not.

Are you handicapped in some way that would prevent you from connecting your iPad to your iMac and syncing them?

Here's a short article on video and audio types allowed on the iPad. LINK

The easiest way to convert an MPEG home movie to iPad format is with QuickTime 10. Just open it and "Save As".

16GB iPhone 5, 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad 1st Gen.

Reminder: Please include your Mac's specs. This will make it much easier for the other members to assist you.

DoThey make a quicktime 10 pro yet?. I was not aware you could save as mpeg. I will have to check that out.

Thanks for your assistance (except for the wanker). Quicktime 10 Player does allow me to convert the .flv files to an mp4 format suitable for my now ancient entry-level 16-gig wifi-only ipad. Strangely the .mov option does not work.

Ok first off wow for calling a mod a wanker. My opinion is bobtomay is a great mod and helps many ops as well as myself. Also there are a few apps as well that convert video right on your vintage ipad on the fly. Love ya bobtomay. Smirinof is king. Spoon!

60% of the time it works every time.
