I bought my wife an Ipad for her birthday last year & I'm kinda bummed to see that the Ipad 2 is out now & it of course has a built in cam.

So is there any plug in type cam/webcam that will work on the first gen Ipad?

Im looking for something that will allow me to use skype & facetime.

I already have the apple camera/usb connector kit if that means anything.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, no. If you want to video chat on an iPad, you will need to upgrade to the new one.
