Am a new IPad user. When I connect my IPad to my PC the PC recognises it as a digital camera. The PC is using XP Home edition 5.1.2600. I have reinstalled ITunes (10.1) No devices are shown in the LHS itunes menu. Have checked out the Ipad and cable on a Mac and works perfect

Can anyone help
Thanks

Is it not recognised in iTunes at all? You need to wait a few seconds but it should appear in the left column.

Follow the guides and explanations for your problem here:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod is not recognized by Windows due to driver installation issues

Hope it helps
