Why not use iTunes? Can't think of a reason to purchase another app.

And it's purchased through where? What is it? What file format is it? Does the seller claim it's iPod/iPhone/iPad compatable?

    Does it play in iTunes?

The magic of believing and its mp3...my boss gave it to me and I can listen on my ipod but I was thinking it should be an audio book rather than being mixed up with music

yes it plays in itunes but under music files
thanks again its probably just a music file

You could always just put it in as a music file, but under it's own playlist so it's easy to find.

In iTunes, right click on the file, select Get Info, go to the Options tab, in the Media Kind drop down - select Audiobook. That will move it to your Books section.
