    iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode
    installing iPad/iPhone OS 4.2

    iTunes has detected an iPad/iPhone in recovery mode

    Windows systems

    disable antivirus and firewall
    run recovery mode for iPad

    if unsuccessful

    hold iPad power and home buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds
    run restore again when prompted

    choose install new iPad if successful

    I think he's talking about how to have itune detect ipad.
