Having been unemployed for some time, I'm loading only FREE apps onto my new iPad (which was a gift). However, after I download an app and return to the category, it starts me back at page one. For example, if I download an app from page 24, then I have to start at page one and > for the next 24 pages to get where I was. Is there an easier way to do that?

Also, is there a way to display ONLY the free apps available in a specific category?

Thanks in advance to all of you for helping this newbie.

When I'm in the categories mode, it automatically separates the free apps to the right and the paid ones to the left...

Once I select and download an app, then it takes me back to the start of the list.

If there's a way around it, I haven't found it.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
