I have reeldirector app for my ipad and my camcorder records AVCHD on SD card, i have ipad camera connection kit (SD slot & USB) and when on holiday i would like to edit or store footage on ipad, if not possible what do i need to convert AVCHD footage to the format for reeldirector on ipad if i use my iMac to convert first (preferably free) i travel a lot and would like to use ipad to edit.

On the Mac you could use iMovie to convert the video, and then load these onto the iPad.
I don't know if Handbrake will convert AVCHD you could give it a try, but I doubt it. Read my blog. The Mac URL The only URL you will need to remember |
