Does the iPad have a USB port? The specs on the Apple site are ambiguous... it only says it comes with a "Dock Connector to USB Cable." I'm wondering if I could download things from the iPad to a jump drive. ? TIA.

Yes and no.

There is the camera connection kit that will enable you to interface with a camera to download the pictures from your digital camera to the iPad. Also it will allow you to use USB keyboards, headsets and mics.

But as far as I know, you can't download from the iPad to an external storage.

Cheers,

MMM
