iPad charger

Hey guys,
I'm typing this on the iPad I picked up today and I love it so far. My question is, is it safe to use the iPad charger for my iPod touch as well? I remember hearing something about them being different wattage chargers and just wanted to make sure. I ran out of outlet space near my bed for the moment so being able to use the same charger for both would be nice.

The iPad charger is essentially the same charger as the one that came with the first gen iPhone and iPod touch, which also work just fine with the later revisions. So yes, it's perfectly safe to use the iPad charger with your iPod touch.

I've actually been using the chargers interchangeably between my iPad and iPhone with no ill effects.
