iPad wireless ability

I currently own a mac pro and apple tv. I love the ablity to be able to sync my mac with the apple tv over the wireless network and be able to control the apple tv from my mac for music. Will the iPad be recognized on my wireless network by both my mac and apple tv? Or will I have to have it pluged in to sync every time? Thanks |
