I may have missed this - but does anyone know if the Ipad will be able to render PDF's out of the box? I'm envisioning reading magazines (Car N Driver etc..) on this and they are in the 2 to 3 meg PDF variety.

As it has already been said, if it is not possible to render PDFs with the iPad out of the box you will have plenty of other apps that will let you do it.

The iPad can do pretty much everything the iPod touch can do, and the iPod touch can render PDFs out of the box.

Short answer: yes

Thanks - No Ipod touch experience here. I pretty much jumped off of the Apple bandwagon when they went ATT - Always figured I'd jump back on when they went Verizon but so long is the wait.

Good to know - If I can render/read my Zino PDF mag's I'll be in pretty good shape.
