the version without the 3G.

It has not been announced yet.

Approx. 60 days from Jan 27.

As far as I have heard from their site and customer service, they are aiming at pre-orders to begin in March which means we will probably see them at the end of March, beginning of April at the earliest.

It's OK for you guys State side, but we in the UK are still waiting to find out:

i) The cost of the iPad (in all it's permutations); and
ii) Which mobile phone company(ies) will sign up for the 3G version - and at what cost!

From what I've heard, neither O2, Vodafone or Orange/ T-Mobile keen on the no-contract AT&T model. But then again, if we do have a 12 or 18 month contract over here, could the 3G version be cheaper than the Wireless one?
