Converting TS Files to MOVHey All,
I am working on a project, I got a short film from a film festival but it is only available in Video_TS and Audio_TS and I need to be able to import it into Final Cut Pro X, I was wondering what is the best way to convert TS files to MOV file, any ideas? I appreciate it
Cheers

Yea, go and grab HandBrake and open the Folder that the TS files are in and convert. If not, you can pay for MPEG Streamclip. But HB is Free and does a great job, in any conversion.

You can import .mp4 into FCP. I do it all the time, but it converts to .mp4 not .MOV

It want matter what media source the media files start out with, as they will be exported as 1 type of media file, and you shouldn't have too many problems. Remembering, both .MOV and .mp4 and .m4v and all Mac compatible, and they are only a container for holding the actual movie file.
If it worries you that much, pay for the MPEG Streamclip I linked above.Dont forget to use the Reputation System if someone has helped you out !!!
