    iCloud woes...
As I'm using my iPhone and iPad more and more for photos I've decided to use iCloud to stream photos from these devices to my iMac. It seems however that setting iCloud Photostream on will sync all photo's across all my devices. I certainly don't want my iPhone photos appearing on my iPad or visa versa as their memories would be full in an instant. Is there any way to just stream back to my mac (and NOT from my mac to those devices)?

There doesn't appear to be a way to do that right now. A couple of solutions are mentioned here.

This might also help but I think it would annoy me.

Slydude - many thanks. After inwardly digesting the suggestions I'll do some experimenting.

One unconventional way to do this would be to use Dropbox and turn on Camera Upload. When you do that, any pictures taken on your iPhone will be synced to your Mac but nothing on your Mac will show up on your iOS devices. Plus, the pictures will be available on all devices but not stored on them.

Brilliant. Why didn't I think of that?

I assume this "sharing" comes with the usual fee. . . voluntary contributions to your educational fund ... attached?
