I have a fairly new iPhone4 and until today had nearly 200 Contacts on it.

Now, suddenly and without any intervention from me, pressing the Contacts icon produces a screen saying "No Contacts." I regularly sync from my MacBook Pro (where the Contacts info is still safe), but trying this today hasn't helped. I've tried a simple Sync, and also:
iTunes - Info -- Check the Advanced Contacts box - Apply. This does a Sync, but the Contacts list is still not there.

If I go to Settings -- Mail, Contacts, Calendars -- Contacts, pressing My info produces my complete list of Contacts (so they are still in the iPhone somewhere!), but I cannot access the data for any individual Contact -- pressing a Contact reverts the display to the My info screen.

Any help in getting the list back under the Contacts icon would be very gratefully received!
QUOTE Thanks
