    iPhone 5/iMessage Battery drain
Has anyone else noticed that with iMessage one their battery drains much faster? I am very conscious of battery life and when I turned off iMessage on my iPhone 4 running ios5, I saw my battery life increase by approx 33-50%. I just got the iPhone 5 and tried to give iMessage another shot, yet I am running into the same battery drain issues. I really like iMessage and would like to use it but the battery loss just isn't worth the benefits it provides, so I was just wondering whether or not i'm the only person experiencing this issue?

Yes, but not nearly as drastic a difference as what you are reporting. Then again, I never used it before the update to iOS 6, so maybe it's an iOS thing in my case. Couldn't say for sure.
