Question Kill me now. I am so lost.
    Alright. Here's the deal:

I made a ringtone on my own, with one of my songs on itunes I DID NOT USE AN APP or anything. I followed all the instructions on the website:

(I even did what the people in the comments did)

It will not show up on my phone!

Yes, it does have the .m4r extension.

Yes, I have tried almost every syncing option available.

It shows up in my 'Tones' folder thing, but every time i sync, it never shows up on my phone!

Does anyone have a solution????????? I have invested way too much time on this to give up now! HELP ME!

I followed this post a while back and made two ringtones and they both showed up on my iPhone. So give it a shot, it's subtly different than that one you posted..
