I was convinced to subscribe to a "me.com" email address. this has been made to be my new apple id. now, when I try to purchase something (or update something) the "enter password" window, contains my old email address. I can't remove it so that I can use my "now" apple id. How can I change my old for the new ?
Thanks for your help...

You can change your AppleID to whatever you want anytime you want. All you have to do is open iTunes, sign in, click on My Account and change your details as you like.

It sounds to me as though you have two iTunes accounts. You will probably need to call Apple to deactivate one or the other, but be warned that at least for now there is NO WAY to merge accounts, so you will lose everything you bought in the old account if you deactivate it.

Why not just keep the old account for purchases?
