So, I just bought my sister's iPhone 3GS for the purpose of using it basically as an iPod touch. I want to sync it or whatever to a different iTunes account, but I don't know how that's gonna work, or what will happen to the current music, apps and stuff already on it. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

If you sync it to a different iTunes account, it will wipe out all the music, podcasts, videos, and whatever else you currently have on the 3GS.

All right, do I need to reset the iPhone first, or will that happen automatically when I re-sync it?
